The Potomac Company is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, Insect IQ, by Rentokil. The family-owned California-based company will generate an increase of Rentokil’s customer in Modesto and the Central Valley.
Insect IQ provides residential and commercial pest control services in 12 cities in the Central Valley with headquarters in Modesto, California.

Insect IQ was founded in 2004 by Josh Haslem. Before establishing the company, Josh worked for various pest control companies from 2002-2003 as a door-to-door sales representative and a technician. After establishing a footprint, Josh’s focus on quality control drove the company to have a great reputation among customers and providing top tier results. With no college education, no start up capital, and no previous experience running a pest control company, Josh’s grit, passion, and determination brought Insect IQ to life.
Insect IQ’s willingness to go above and beyond in their service proved beneficial with an A+ rating on Better Business Bureau and a five-star rating on Facebook with almost 1,000 reviews. In this transaction, Insect IQ will continue to provide quality pest control for its customers with the help of Rentokil.
