The Potomac Company is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, Seitz Brothers Exterminating, Inc. by ServiceMaster.
Founded in 1975, Seitz Brothers grew to be one of the largest, independently owned pest control companies in Eastern Pennsylvania. With over 80 employees, Seitz Brothers covers a large swath of territory from its home-base in Tamaqua, PA up into the Poconos and down in Philadelphia and New Jersey.
The Company was acquired by ServiceMaster in late 2018 and made part of its Terminix Specialty Brands division.
Brian Seitz, President of Seitz Brothers said, “I never expected to sell our family business. I was approached by an acquirer and then got Paul and the Potomac team onboard. He took the business out to formal sell-side process and we ended doing a deal with ServiceMaster, rather than the company that originally approached us. Paul told me that if I accepted the offer I had in hand, I would be leaving a lot of money on the table. He turned out to be abundantly correct. Getting Potomac involved was the best investment we ever made.”
