The Potomac Company served as exclusive financial advisor to Environmental Pest Management LLC (“EPM”), a Columbus-based pest management company, in its sale to Anticimex.
Founded in 2003, EPM grew under the Carpenter family’s ownership into a business serving multifamily properties across Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan, and Indiana. The company also provides residential pest control and wildlife services in Central Ohio.
EPM’s operations reflect its focus on property managers and their residents. The company trains its technicians through an in-house program and uses its proprietary PestGenius platform to give property managers real-time information about their pest management programs.
In its announcement of the transaction, Anticimex identified the Midwest as a longstanding expansion target and emphasized the cultural fit with the Carpenter family.
