The Potomac Company is pleased to announce the acquisition of its client, Mick’s Exterminating, by PestCo Holdings, LLC (PestCo)—a portfolio company of Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP). This transaction serves as PestCo’s fifth investment since it was formed as an acquisition platform in 2021.
Mick’s Exterminating is a family owned and operated pest control company headquartered in O’Fallon, Missouri. Mick and Jan Ostrander founded the company in 1973 and recruited their son, Matt, to join the family business in 1991. Now president and owner of Mick’s Exterminating, Matt Ostrander and his team continue provide high quality residential and commercial pest control to the greater St. Louis area.
On the acquisition, Matt said, “Partnering with PestCo and TSCP offers great opportunities for our employees and broadens the range of services we can offer to our clients. I knew it was a perfect match since day one, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds for us.”
