Terminix Acquires Groupe Cameron Pest Control Canada

Terminix has acquired substantially all of the assets of Groupe Cameron, a Quebec, Canada-based company. The entrance into the Quebec province demonstrates the company’s commitment to growing its Canadian presence and follows 2013 acquisitions of Toronto-based Magical Pest Control and Vancouver-based Care Pest & Wildlife Control.

Founded in 1962, Groupe Cameron is a premier pest management provider, with a focus on commercial business, serving the greater Quebec and East Ontario markets through a network of five branches. The company provides insect, rodent and bird control across a variety of industry categories including agri-food, institutional, pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial and residential.

“We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Groupe Cameron, a company that has experienced consistent growth and maintains an extremely high customer retention rate,” said Larry Pruitt, president of Terminix International Division. “Acquisitions like these continue to be an integral part of the overall Terminix expansion strategy, both in North America and also internationally.”

“Our top priority when choosing a company to grow Groupe Cameron was ensuring we had a cultural fit for our associates and customers,” said Pierre Cameron, former president of Groupe Cameron. “We have a tradition of taking care of our associates and providing superior service, and so we were very selective in joining a company with a strong culture that would enhance our service offerings, provide more opportunities for our associates, and maintain our tradition. We’ve found that in Terminix.”
