The Potomac Company served as exclusive sell-side advisor to Dowell Pest Control, LLC in its acquisition by Tyro Group USA Inc. The transaction represents Tyro Group’s third U.S. acquisition as it continues to build out its Texas market presence.
Tracing its roots to 1989, Dowell Pest Control, LLC provides residential and commercial pest management across the Texas Gulf Coast. Originally established as Calhoun County Pest Control and built through three generations of family leadership, the business took its current form under Chad and Clint Dowell in 2014.
In May 2024, the company broadened its regional footprint by integrating Rockport-based Albin Exterminating, a family-owned business serving the community since 1978. The integration united two long-standing local operations under the Dowell brand.
Today, the acquisition of Dowell Pest Control, LLC by Tyro Group USA Inc. reflects its continued focus on partnering with established pest management businesses that share its long-term vision and commitment to service excellence.

The Potomac Company served as the exclusive financial advisor to Dowell Pest Control, LLC in the transaction, with Paul Giannamore and Franco Villanueva-Meyer leading the engagement, and Erika Tiozon and Lynmark Altres as members of The Potomac Company’s execution team.
